Lancet Neurology Study Using Alamar Biosciences’ Technology Reveals Divergent Biological Responses to Alzheimer’s Treatment
A longitudinal study published in The Lancet Neurology using Alamar Biosciences' NULISAseq CNS 120 panel found that patients receiving lecanemab for early symptomatic Alzheimer's disease show markedly different biological responses. The research revealed that biomarkers associated with amyloid clearance differ from those associated with cognitive decline, explaining why clearing amyloid doesn't produce uniform clinical benefits across patients. The study measured 130 plasma proteins across 2,385 samples from 1,967 participants.
