Irving Forest Products is undertaking a modernization project at its Ashland Sawmill in Maine that will double annual lumber production capacity from 130 million to 250 million board feet. The project, supported by $112.9 million in combined federal and state New Markets Tax Credit allocations, is expected to create and retain 220 permanent full-time jobs while strengthening the regional forest products economy.
Premium Income Corporation announced the establishment of an at-the-market (ATM) equity program effective until October 2, 2028, allowing the Fund to issue up to $250 million in Class A and Preferred Shares through the TSX at prevailing market prices. The program replaces a prior ATM program from August 2024 and will be managed by National Bank Financial Inc.
